Ever since I can remember, I have loved the arts. While in college, I started taking pictures as a hobby and found that I most enjoyed taking pictures of people. When my daughter was born in 1998, I really started burning through rolls of film until my in-laws presented me with an enlarger for Christmas, and everything needed to set up my own b&w darkroom.
Following came the move to digital photography and asking my husband to build a studio and backyard oasis for clients. While located in the country between Marysville and Bellefontaine, I also travel to clients' homes or favorite locations.
I love interacting with my subjects and seeking to capture that special something that makes them who they are. I enjoy incorporating my graphic design background with photography to enhance and make each image memorable... I am always willing to try new things and welcome your ideas! I also encourage the use of your favorite props, as they add to the story of who you are.
I am continually amazed by the unique character and beauty God instills in each of us. With the grace of my savior Jesus Christ I want to share in the unbelievable love and joy that comes from serving others. As a way of passing it on, a portion of my proceeds is designated to helping those in need. If you have a favorite charity that you would like to recommend, please let me know!
